The back tire has massive nobbies. Soft and gummie. Hooks up where you need it. Sand, mud, hard pack, rocks, roots, and red clay. I train 2-3 times a week for Hare Scramble, Enduro, Sprint Enduro. About 4 hours a session. These are some of the best tires I've tried to date. Been riding 43 years. Can't say much for wear and tear. Jst got em' about 2 weeks ago. So far, they are stellar in performance, and would recommend them for the East Coast. Great price. Great product.

My favorite dual sport tire. Was recommended to try these and they work great, so I won't even bother trying others.

Ran these on a Vstrom 650. Nearly useless in anything slick but performed well and held up decently on a mix of 90/10 pavement/gravel. Good value tire for the money.

I installed a set of the Big Block on my KTM 390 Adventure prior to a trip to Moab, UT. They provided much better off-road traction than the stock tires on the sandy and rocky soil there. They feel slightly loose on pavement but not enough to be scary. My professional guide in Utah said that he had ridden the same model KTM with the stock tires and the Kenda's made a huge difference off-road after he rode mine. That's a good thing since he is the one that recommended them. I don't have a lot of miles on them yet but I am seeing noticeable wear, most likely from the pavement sections between trails.

The Heidenau K60 Scout is a really good 50-50 or 60-40 tire. It works well on gravel and forest roads and is a good highway tire. Great durability as i usually get at least 8000 miles out of a rear tire.
